The ministry of a high level leader in Campus Crusade encompasses so much more than what you see. Much of the work of a leader is administrative in nature, yet many visionary leaders are not also gifted with administrative abilities. We need bright, organized, energetic and dependable people to come alongside our regional and national directors within the ministry and join with them to fulfill all the requirements of their role. Candidates must have exceptional communications skills, be flexible yet thorough and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while working productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The assistant’s life in Campus Crusade for Christ:
You will work in an environment that will allow you to develop personally and professionally as you engage with some of the top leaders in our ministry. You will provide administrative and project assistance one or more directors, playing a central role in keeping things on track and moving forward. The job will encompass a wide range of activities, from simple administrative duties to more complex leadership responsibilities. The position would also involve some travel, supporting vertical meetings, conferences, working groups, and miscellaneous projects.
The day to day tasks:
- Managing schedule, calendar, phone and email
- Travel arrangements
- Coordinating meetings and group events
- Prepare and track expense reports (Onecard)
- Assist in preparation of presentations and with correspondence, email, memos, charts, tables, graphs, plans, etc.
- Participating in and managing key projects
- Handle confidential and non-routine information.
- Interface with high level executives both internally and externally in a professional, effective
- manner
We are looking for someone who is/has:
- A BA/BS degree.
- An aptitude for or mastery of Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- An interest and/or experience in using technology to improve work efficiency.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to handle a multi-faceted flow of strategic information.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to think and articulate on a principle basis.
- Strong organizational skill who is detail-oriented, and has the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Intellectual flexibility to deal with complexities of contextualized ministry, our basic ministry philosophy.
- The skills to be a team player yet is self-motivated to work independently.
In agreement with and willingness to grow in understanding of the campus ministry models, participate in selected developmental and ministry opportunities related to evangelism, leadership, growth and sending. - Understanding of and owns the Campus Ministry mission, values and key objectives.
